Tournament Info:

The 9th Annual Nusantara Cup 2007 Ultimate Frisbee Tournament is being held on Bali, the Island of the Gods. A perfect location for friends and family, Bali offers everything you could want: beautiful weather, incredible culture, awesome nightlife, fantastic beaches and surfing, super-luxury accomodation at attractive prices.

Registration

We are accepting both team and individual registrations again this year.

Individual – if you want us to help you find a team, please email nusantara_cup@ultimateindonesia.com with:

•  Name
•  Where you're from
•  To help place you on a team, we'd also like to get:
•  Short description of playing and tournament experience
•  An estimate of your own skill and fitness level
•  What role you typically play on a team (handler, cutter, deep)

Tournament Format:

We will be playing by 11 th Edition UPA rules, with typical changes for game time and caps (to be announced later).

The tournament will be played as 4-3, although captains can agree to play 5-2 if desired.

Registration

The cost per player is Rp. 600,000/$65 USD, payable at the registration party on Thursday night.

Party Theme

The tournament party is one of the most important and beloved traditions at the Nusantara Cup. With no games the next day and generally no sense of decency or propriety, it is an orgiastic celebration that's only really stopped by the next day's rising sun.

This year's party will be tropical.

That does not mean: "wear a tropical shirt"
That does mean: "wear a leopard-print thong"

DiscIndo will be wearing as little clothing as possible. We challenge you to do the same!

Tournament Timetable:

Tournament Dinner

This year's dinner (included in the tourney fee) will be at Seaside Restaurant, which is (not surprisingly) located right on the beach, just down the street from the party. Similar to last year, it'll be a tasty buffet with plenty of food for big appetities.

Flights

Get your flights as soon as you can! This year Prophet Muhammad's Birthday falls on the Thursday before the tourney, meaning that it is a 4 day weekend for most Indonesians. Book now, particularly if you're flying to Bali from somewhere else in Indonesia .

Hotel:

We're happy to announce the All Seasons Resort Legian Bali http://www.allseasons-asia.com/ as the official tournament hotel for this year's tourney. We've got 45 superior rooms on hold until February 20 , so book now – first come, first served!

Field Map

We are pleased to announce that we have secured Lapangan Sesetan for the third year in a row. The fields are approximately 20 minutes from the tourney hotel, so a shuttle will be provided to get you there and back.  If you are staying at a different hotel, just show up at the All Seasons in time for the shuttle

Visa:

1. Citizens of the following countries must obtain an entry visa upon arrival in Indonesia - (you will recieve a form to fill out on the plane and will be charged USD10 for 7 days & USD25 for 30 days)

3. All other nationalities must obtain an entry visa prior to arrival in Indonesia, via the nearest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate.

4. Citizens of any country wishing to stay more than 30 days must apply for an appropriate visa prior to arrival into Indonesia refer to Indonesian Embassy/Consulate.

All visitors must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from date of their arrival. Visitors staying beyond their visa limit may be fined on departure (approx. USD20 per day). Further details available by contacting the nearest Indonesian Embassy/Consulate.

By the way, MAKE SURE YOU BRING A COPY OF YOUR RETURN TICKET WITH YOU WHEN YOU GO THROUGH CUSTOMS it's a requirement of the Tourist Visa, and can cause delays if you don't have it.
